Cohort Terms

1. Who this applies to

These Cohort Terms apply to anyone enrolling in a live cohort run by Digital Madhav AI Company (OPC) Private Limited — today, the 1-Week SaaS Live Challenge; tomorrow, any other cohort we add (e.g. /career tracks). They sit on top of the general Terms of Use and the Refund Policy; where there’s a conflict, the more specific (cohort) rule wins for cohort-only matters.

2. Attendance

The SaaS Challenge runs across seven consecutive evenings, Mon–Sun. Attendance for all seven is the default expectation. We deliberately don’t enrol more than thirty seats so each evening is a working room, not a webinar — your presence is load-bearing.

If a documented emergency forces you to miss a session, you must:

• Notify the cohort group on Slack/Skool the same day, and
• Watch the official recording within 48 hours of the missed session, and
• Submit the assignment for that day on the original deadline.

Missing more than two sessions, or failing to catch up within 48 hours, voids the ship guarantee for that cohort — you can still attend the rest, but the next-cohort re-seat option lapses. (See §9.)

3. No substitutes

Your seat is yours and is non-transferable. You cannot send a colleague, co-founder, intern, or AI clone in your place. We designed the cohort around the people who showed up — sending a substitute breaks the dynamic for the other founders, and we don’t honour deliverables generated for somebody who wasn’t actually there.

If you can’t make a cohort, the right move is to reschedule into the next one (see §10) — not hand off your seat.

4. No recording

You may not record, screenshot, transcribe, screen-share to another tool, livestream, or otherwise capture any part of a cohort session — Madhav’s teaching, fellow founders’ questions, or anything written on a shared whiteboard or screen — without our prior written consent. Same rule for AI meeting notetakers (Otter, Granola, Fireflies, etc.) — they must be turned off before you join.

We dorecord the sessions ourselves. Clean cuts of official lecture portions are shared in the cohort Slack/Skool within 24 hours. Q&A and founder-specific discussion are notrecorded — that’s where the confidentiality work happens.

Sharing any unofficial recording — even with a friend who paid for the cohort but missed a session — is a material breach of these Terms and grounds for immediate termination without refund.

5. Founder confidentiality

The cohort works because founders bring real, unfiltered information about what they’re building, who their customers are, what their financials look like, and where they’re stuck. That only happens if everyone trusts the room.

By enrolling, you agree:

• Anything a fellow founder shares inside the cohort — product, customers, revenue, raise stage, technical architecture, personal context — stays inside the cohort.
• You will not screenshot, post on social, write a blog post about, or pitch to investors anything you learnt about a specific fellow founder, unless they explicitly tell you it’s OK.
• This obligation runs for three years after cohort end, then becomes a courtesy.

We extend the same to you — Madhav doesn’t name your product or company in talks, blog posts, or other cohort marketing without your written go-ahead. We may anonymously reference patterns (“a fashion-retail founder in the last cohort built X”) — let us know in writing if even that’s too close.

6. Code of conduct

The room runs on three rules:

1. Be precise, not polite. Direct feedback is why the cohort exists. Phrasing matters; the underlying critique should still land.
2. Help when you can, ask when you need to. Founders helping founders is a load-bearing part of the week. If you’re stuck, post in the cohort channel — don’t suffer in private.
3. No selling to fellow founders.The cohort is not a marketplace. Don’t pitch your product, your agency, or your investor connections to anyone in the room. After cohort end you can do whatever you both want — during, no.

Behaviour that violates these rules — harassment, doxxing, intellectual-property theft, hate speech, sexual misconduct, or any conduct that materially disrupts the cohort — is grounds for immediate removal without refund. We’ll cooperate with any investigation by your employer, regulator, or law enforcement where required.

7. Intellectual property

What you build is yours. The product you ship during the cohort, the code you write, the marketing copy you produce, the data you collect from your customers — all yours, free and clear. We claim no IP, no equity, no revenue share.

What we teach stays ours. The curriculum, slide decks, template repos, prompt libraries, and any other training material remain our intellectual property. You may reuse them inside your own work, but you may not republish, repackage, sell, or use them to train an AI model without a separate written licence.

Anonymous case-study reservation.Unless you tell us in writing not to, we may reference your product anonymously in our public marketing — never your name, your company, or any detail that would identify you to a person who didn’t already know what you’re building. Email hello@digitalmadhav.ai to opt out at any time, including retroactively.

8. Community access

On completing the cohort (full attendance + assignments submitted), you receive an invite to our Skool community — today the only persistent meeting place for cohort alumni. Access is personal, non-transferable, and granted at our discretion.

Community access continues indefinitely while these Terms remain in force, except that we may revoke access for: a violation of the code of conduct, a violation of confidentiality, or use of the community to spam or solicit fellow founders. Revocation does not entitle you to a refund of cohort fees.

9. Ship guarantee & refunds

The full ship-guarantee mechanic — what triggers it, how to invoke it, what we deliver — lives in the Refund Policy §2. Headline:

• Full attendance + complete assignments + still no shipped product → free seat in the next cohort until you ship.
• Money-back refunds are not part of the cohort offer.
• Where we cancel a cohort under force majeure (§10), you choose between full money-back refund or a free seat in the next run.

10. Force majeure (we cancel)

If we cancel a cohort for reasons within or outside our control (illness, force majeure, fewer than the minimum enrolment threshold), you choose between:

1. Full refund of fees paid, processed via Razorpay within 3 business days of cancellation, OR
2. Reserved seat in the next available cohort at no additional cost.

11. Termination

We may remove you from a live cohort with immediate effect (and revoke any community access) for:

• Material breach of the no-recording, founder-confidentiality, or no-substitutes clauses.
• Conduct that disrupts the cohort or threatens another founder’s safety, dignity, or commercial interests.
• Misrepresentation at enrolment (fake name, false company claim, undisclosed sanctions exposure).

Termination for cause forfeits the fees you’ve paid. Termination by us without cause defaults to a full refund of fees paid, prorated for value already delivered, processed per Razorpay’s standard timeline.
