Mentorship · for students

Fifteen minutes. Direct.

For final-year B.Tech, recent grads, and first-jobbers stuck choosing between the safe job and the ambitious one. Half the bookings most months are students — you won’t feel out of place.

Questions that fit the slot

  • Should I take the safe job or wait for AI roles?
  • How do I get into AI without an ML degree?
  • What should my LinkedIn say this week?
  • Two job offers — which one keeps me employable?

Questions that actually fit 15 min

Concrete beats comprehensive.

A narrow question lets us go deep in fifteen minutes. A broad one (“how do I become an AI engineer?”) doesn’t. Below — the kinds of questions students bring that work.

  • 01

Should I take the 6 LPA TCS offer or wait for AI roles?

  • 02

How do I get into AI without an ML degree?

  • 03

What should my LinkedIn say this week?

  • 04

    I'm a final-year B.Tech — which one project should I ship?

  • 05

I have a Java backend, want ML. Where do I start in 30 days?

  • 06

I'm choosing between two job offers — which leaves me employable in 2 years?

Closer to mid-career than student?

The dedicated /career page.

If you’ve already shipped 5+ years and are caught in the AI shift, the 15-min slot still works — but the cohort tracks at /career are built for the longer pivot. Track A keeps you technical; Track B moves you into AI leadership.

FAQ

Frequently asked.

  • I'm still a student / first-jobber. Is the 15-min slot worth it?
Honestly: it depends on the question. If you're asking 'should I take the safe job?', a 15-min conversation that helps you decide is worth several lakhs over the next two years. If you're asking 'tell me everything about AI', it isn't — that's a YouTube playlist, not a 1:1.
  • Will you actually take a student call seriously, or push me to a paid course?
Take it seriously. Half my mentorship bookings most months are students or first-jobbers. The whole reason this is paid is so I'm not incentivised to upsell — you've already paid for the call to be useful.
  • What kind of questions actually work in 15 minutes?
Concrete, narrow questions. "Should I take the 6 LPA TCS offer or wait for AI roles?" "How do I pivot from frontend to ML without a Master's?" "What should my LinkedIn say this week?" Broad questions like "how do I become an AI engineer" don't fit the slot.
  • I don't know what to put in the qualifier. Help?
One paragraph. Tell me where you are (year of study or current role), what's actually stuck, and what would make the next 30 days feel un-stuck. The rougher the better — I'd rather see honesty than polish.
  • Can my batchmate / sibling / friend join?
Yes — one extra person is fine, no charge. More than that and we should probably scope a different format. Tell me on the qualifier so I know who's in the room.
  • What if my question needs more than 15 minutes?
Either we wrap with a clear written recap (still useful) or roll into the 30-min slot then and there if my calendar allows — billed pro-rated. Most 15-min student calls land cleanly because the qualifier sharpens the question first.
  • Recording — can I rewatch later?
On request, opt-in. You'll get a private link the same day. Many students don't ask, then regret it later when they want to share with a parent / partner / sibling who's pushing them on the decision.
  • I'm closer to mid-career than student — wrong page?
Probably. The dedicated /career page is for PMs / engineers / programme leads with 5+ years caught in the AI shift. The same 15-min slot is still available to you, but the cohort there will work better for the longer pivot.
